Claudia Baca has been appointed to the core team of the Organizational
Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3) standard, 3rd edition.
This is familiar ground, as Claudia was on the core teams for
both the 1st and 2nd editions of the standard. The revised
3rd edition of the standard is scheduled for publication in 2013.

Claudia Baca has been appointed the team lead for the OPM3 Professional
Services Member
Advisory Group (MAG). The purpose of this PMI sponsored group is to advise PMI on matters of
interest to OPM3 consultants around the world.

and Ruth Anne Guerrero of Amerihealth Mercy Family of
Companies submitted a white paper case study which has
been accepted for presentation at the PMI North American Congress in
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA on October 22-25, 2011.
The white paper is entitled "A
Case Study on Improving Business Performance Using Organizational
Project Management" and is scheduled to be
presented on Monday, October 24th, at 11:15 AM. |

Companies have co-authored a chapter in The PMOSIG Program Management
Office Handbook. The chapter on which they
collaborated is entitled "PMO
Building Blocks - A Practical Approach for Implementing PMO Services." The book is availalbe through J.Ross publishing. |

Baca, the principal of our company, has achieved the 1st PMI Certified
OPM3 Assessor and
Consultant
certificates to be awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
and
its
partner organization Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
Claudia
was part of an exclusive
group of participants who attended the first training course in Atlanta, Georgia, USA,
in March 2006. Since receiving her certification, Claudia has conducted
assessments and lectured about OPM3 assessments in
venues around the world.

on PMP® exam preparation. Originally
released in September,
2007, the 2nd version is based on the latest version of the PMBOK® Guide and
will be
released in the 4th quarter of 2011. The video
includes over 3 hours of instruction, as well as
flash cards and practice exams. |
